THE BEATLES Third Christmas Record, 1965 Fan Club flexi-disc. Original, rare, sent to paid-up members of the Official Beatles Fan Club, never available in shops. Being sold on behalf of its original owner. Overall condition is Good, cardboard sleeve is intact with no tears etc., very good condition considering it is now over 56 years old. The flexi-disc plays well until about half way in when it suffers from groove sticking and needs the tone arm to be nudged to continue playing. It does have the surface noise to be expected from discs of this age and type, there are some minor surface marks but the cause of the groove sticking is not obvious. Worth noting that it was played, before being listed, on a high quality turntable with a rubber platter and low stylus weight, when played on record players of the period these flexi-discs often failed to rotate properly!
