Description
The Beatles UK PMC 1267 Rubber Soul Loud Cut released Dec. 3rd. 1965 in the UK. Matrix numbers side 1 YEX-579-1 Stampers 9:00 o'clock 4 / 3:00 o'clock GDM. Matrix numbers side 2 YEX-580-1 Stampers 9:00 o'clock 4 / 3:00 o'clock
GDM. Very rare for the Stampers to match on both sides even being a Loud Cut Rubber Soul album.
The “Loud Cut” is the very first pressing of the Beatles’ Rubber Soul album, it was quickly discontinued after a short pressing run as EMI decided that the album had been cut too loud resulting in a noticeably different mix, in certain places the vocals, sound raw and agressive, EMI hastily ceased production. Needless to say very few copies ‘escaped’ and a copy is on every serious Beatles collectors want list….
Album Condition VG close to VG+:
Album still retains it's high gloss sheen.
Album does have some scuffing to it on both sides from being placed in it's original sleeve. Side 1 does have a V shape scratch that runs through tracks 4 through 7. It does cause some clicking sound mostly in between the tracks and some of the quiet spots in the songs. Clicking in the songs is hardly noticable.
Still has a very enjoyable listening 🎧 sound. There are no skips or jumps due to this scratch. Side 2 condition is a VG+ listening sound to it free from any deep scratches. Side 2 has no skips or jumps to it.
Label Condition:
Labels are the black and yellow Parlophone labels with the sold in the UK text.
Labels are very clean they are free from any writing or stickers and very little wear around the spindle hole. Labels do have very little spindle trails.
Album comes in it's original Emitex sleeve that is in excellent condition. There are no rips or tears in the sides or the bottom and the mouth of the sleeve has very little wear to it. Absolutely perfect condition.
Album Cover Condition :
Album cover is the flip back cover in the more rarer Ernest J. Day cover rather than the Jarod & Lofthouse cover.
Album cover is in VG+ condition. There is very little bumping to the corners. The cover has a name written on the back of the cover otherwise it is very clean. There is some very light bending to one corner. There is no laminate lifting but there is some creasing places around the opening of the sleeve. The back of the cover is fairly clean for a cover if this age. Cover has no rips or tears around the mouth of the cover.
Right now I'm only shipping to the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. So if your from another please don't ask if I will ship to your country as shipping is taking to long going through customs of other countries and I don't want claims saying item has not been received yet. Also the cost is to expensive.
