Description
Up for auction is a nice, original copy of The Beatles VI, originally released in the U.S. on Capitol Records (T-2358) in 1965.
-Guaranteed original pressing -Original mono pressing -Original black & rainbow rim Capitol labels -I AM triangle Scranton, PA deadwax
-RIAA 3 cover -Has "See label for correct playing order" on cover
-Original paste-down cover
-Original gold Capitol inner sleeve -No UPC/bar code on cover
Condition: Cover is very good, with light general wear. Light rubbing to front and back. Seams are intact, no splits. Corners are good, light rubbing. Factory punch hole upper right corner. Titles on spine are intact. Still an attractive copy.
Grade: Very Good Plus (VG+)
Vinyl is also in very good condition, still has much of its original shine. Vinyl has some light hairline scratches on both sides, but nothing deep or serious--nothing that should affect the quality of playback.
Spot tested, when played in the recommended mono mode, the sound quality is very nice, generally clean and clear. A little pressing noise on the run-in grooves, but once the music kicks in, it's not noticeable. Nice full-bodied mono sound! Grade: Excellent (EX)
