Although I’m a big Beatles fan and have been collecting records for over 30 years I have to say this is one of the hardest albums to decipher.. there are nearly 800 presses of The White Album so I’ll post as much description as possible and let the ultimate experts decide on this one..

Originally released in 1969 this is a German press and unsure of exact release date.

English text and audio.

Gatefold glossy inner and outer sleeve with inner flip backs.

Top loader.

Stereo printer on top rear sleeve silver text.

Embossed front sleeve.

Numbered No. 0053986

Black poly lined inner sleeves.

The Beatles top of spine and Cat SMO 2051/52 In silver text.

ELECTROLA GESELLSCHAFT M.B.H., Köln - Braunsfeld text in silver on the inner left gatefold.

Vinyl still have a good sheen and play through with no skips, sticks or jumps with occasional background the odd click in places overall. There are light hairlines, light clusters of hairlines under the lamp and some light surface scratches with a tiny lightly feel able one which doesn’t detract from playback. Labels are clean and complete with no stickers or writing and very light spindle wear to the centres. Original black poly line inners are complete and the poster and postcards are unused with to poster just having the fold lines as it’s large. Glossy top loader gatefold sleeve with inner flip backs has no splits, stickers or writing is embossed and is number 0053986. There is some light ring wear and some light wear to the top loader gatefold with some light age related yellowing otherwise a good all round solid sleeve with a readable thin spine.

All records are properly play tested through headphones unless otherwise stated or still sealed.. All vinyl is also inspected under a bright halogen lamp and carefully graded.. I use the standard U.K. record collector grading system appreciating that opinions differ.. I never add more than one + or - to my gradings and never grade a record as M unless it’s bought new by myself and still sealed. Even then an M graded record is extremely rare in anyone’s grading system.

Vinyl is graded first then outer / inner sleeves, posters inserts etc. Vinyl is always separated from sleeve in transit. Record will come in a polythene protective sleeve with a new anti static inner sleeve when the inner is printed or a new one is required. Posted with two record stiffeners in sturdy vinyl mailer. Vinyl is always posted signed for, insured with proof of postage also retained. Any international postage is also always signed for, tracked and with healthy insurance.

Vinyl can be combined, up to three thin spine or two wide spine per mailer. Spine size is generally stated in my listings to give buyers an idea of potential postage combining. I always provide new mailers / packing material etc. If you wish to combine postage please just drop me a mail stating your intentions thank you..
