The Sleeve: Very Low numbered 0010625 top opening mono sleeve with 'The Beatles' raised and the number pressed in under the laminate and greyed in as per 1st issues. In an all round Very Good clean condition with bare minimum handling signs on the edges and a few light marks. No major record ring-wear, no laminate splits inside or out, and the spine is fully intact with the title text clear. Inside the Gatefold very neat looking very glossy with no laminate splits down the centre section, the inner partition is still also intact holding all contents tightly.
Original Portrait Photographs: All in Excellent condition with minimal handling signs. No marks or handwriting or creasing.
The Original Poster: In Good condition with light seam splits and a few small light stains. No major marks or handwriting or pin holes etc.
Inner Sleeves: Original Apple black one-sided inner sleeves included in an Excellent condition for their delicate nature. One has a little light fraying along the top edge but both are completely intact at all sides.
The Vinyl: Very Good Minus condition consistently throughout. The surfaces are smooth and groove wear free, unblemished pressing shine all over each side. The surfaces look respectable although each side has light hairline marks over most of the surfaces, as viewed with the vinyl tilted angled under a direct light source. Some wispy lines and light hairlines but nothing worse and none feelable. Completely smooth clean surfaces, with the pattern of the interwoven grooves holding the propensity for the amazing Beatle musical creation. No deep scratches, scuffs, marks, warps or dinks. The item has received fair use, the vinyl will be removed from the original inner and held in black anti-static inner sleeves.
All lay completely flat on the turntable, heavyweight late Sixties vinyl.
The Labels: In Very Good condition. No immediately visible wear to the spindle perimeter, except on side 3. Just a few barely noticeable spindle location lines/ marks. Have the Darker Green Apples and Apple whites as per 1st pressings.
1st Mothers and 1st Stampers on 3 of the sides puts this as one of the earliest pressed:
Side 1 - 1 G
Side 2 - 26 GRA
Side 3 - 1 G
Side 4 - 1 G
The Audio: A Very Good sounding copy. Plays smoothly from start to finish on each side with immense detail and warm mono channelling and bass. This isn’t a surface-noise free player, it has some light ticks mainly audible in the quieter parts, and there are no defects such as jumps or skips or crackle/ hiss over the audio. A very decent sounding early copy that is guaranteed not to disappoint.
