The Sleeve: 

Top loading sleeve in Very Good condition, fully laminated with only some minor signs of shelf wear, and two small splits on the top edge of the back only. All text legible and pictorials clear and glossy and has held original colour well. Inside the gatefold is excellent; smooth, glossy and clean with clear print and unblemished black & white square pictorials of each band member. 'The BEATLES' logo on the front is embossed and raised as it was on all first issue sleeves, and the number is in the 7 digit format also embossed and raised. 

Low number 0076588.

The laminate along the length of the spine is fully intact, and all original title and catalogue number text is legible. The lamination is complete, and the sleeve is firm and flat and intact, including the inner partition.

The sleeve is sturdy and firm and hold the records and inserts well.

Inner Sleeves:

Fair and Good condition original inner sleeves. The 1st pressings of the White Album came with plain black inner sleeves with the label window on one side only, and one bottom edge corner having a wider slant than the opposite bottom corner. One has side splits and a tear from the window, the other is in better condition and is intact at the seams but with fraying to its top edge. These inner sleeves rarely survive well and are usually missing.

Poster:

Excellent Condition. No blemishes, and no tears or rips, and has survived extremely well.

A couple of tiny creases on centre fold line extremely hard to see.

The Four Portrait Photographs:

Excellent Condition, no corner creases, and hardly ever removed from the sleeve.

The Vinyl:

The vinyl surfaces are consistently in Very Good Plus Condition. There are no feelable or deep scratches on either side of either discs, just some ultra light surface hairline marks/ cleaning trails which are mainly viewable under strong light over areas on either side. There are no scuffs or warps or dinks in the vinyl or anything that causes any noticeable detractions to the audio. The glossy sheen is still present and there are no areas of dulling or groove wear. The records have received a moderate of amount plays commensurate with age and are in a far over average condition, with the vast majority of the surface having no blemishes.

The records lay completely flat on the turntable.

Robust Sixties vinyl's weighing at around 160 grams.

Label conditions are are: Side 1 - Good Plus, 

Side 2 - Very Good, Side 3 - Excellent, Side 4 - Very Good Plus. 

All text is clear and and background colour is all bright. There are hardly any noticeable spindle line traces on any of the labels, some have more wear around the perimeter of the spindle location point to the label. 

All sit perfectly on the spindle point on the turntable.

The Audio:

The audio grades at Very Good Plus, very near Excellent across the discs. Both discs play through clearly on both sides, with no pops, no background noises such as crackle or hiss, and there are no skips/jumps or sticks. There are some mild static ticks now and again, where to be expected i.e. the quieter parts on a few of the tracks on each of the sides, but on the majority the records play superbly without any static ticks, offering a crisp and strong original mono rendition of which many critics regard as The Beatles finest masterpiece.

The vinyl sides 1, 2, 3 and 4 are all from the very first mono master recording and none are from the second master recording. The mother stamps are low and the the labels are the 2nd variation with 'An EMI Recording' text - this label was printed in the same month of November 1968 as the 1st variation type which omitted that text on one of the LP's for just a few weeks. The number on the sleeve is low - it is well known that numbers 0000001-0600000 were used for 1st and 2nd pressings of the White Album.

These factors indicate that this is a first Pressing with the second variation label.

This LP will be securely delivered in a professional cardboard LP mailer with cardboard stifferners. 

New plain black generic poly-lined inner sleeves will house the records as shown, and the originals will be placed separately.

A new protective PVC 180 gsm gatefold sleeve is included as shown to house the LP.

This White Album will be delivered by recorded delivery in the UK.

Overseas postage will be tracked and a tracking number given.
