ORIGINAL 1968 DOUBLE MONO LP by THE BEATLES "THE BEATLES" on the APPLE label (PMC 7067-8).PLEASE READ CAREFULLY, AS I WANT YOU TO REALISE EXACTLY WHAT YOU ARE GETTING. I'VE PUT A PHOTO OF THE RECORD COLLECTOR GRADINGS TO GIVE YOU A GUIDE TO MY DESCRIPTION. SIDE 1 : GOOD condition with quite a lot of light hairline marks and a few light scratches. There is some light crackle and I noticed a 'staticy' sound during the 1st 3rd of 'happiness is a warm gun'. There were no 'jumps' or 'sticks'. It was still an enjoyable listen (I played it twice through). The label is nice and clear with no writing.SIDE 2 : GOOD condition with quite a lot of light hairline marks and a few light scratches.There is some light background noise with the odd 'pop' and some noticeable 'clicks' on 'Don't pass me by'. There were no 'jumps' or 'sticks'. I thought it was still an enjoyable listen. The labels are nice and clear with no writing.SIDE 3 : GOOD condition with quite a lot of light hairline marks and a few light scratches. There is a bit of light crackle on 'Mother natures son' and the end of 'sexy Sadie' and some light crackle discernible during the quiet bits of 'Long long long'. There were no 'jumps' or 'sticks'. A good listen. The label is nice and clear with no writing.SIDE 4 : FAIR/GOOD condition with quite a lot of light hairline marks and a few light scratches (these are probably the worst of the 4 sides). I've tried to show them in one of the photos. These scratches cause light crackle throughout the side. There were no 'jumps' or 'sticks' and was still an enjoyable listen. The label is nice and clear with no writing.COVER: The gatefold numbered (No. 0078010) cover is in VG condition with some wear to the TOP opening edge and a sticker top left, front and some sticker marks top right, front (see photo). there is no writing or rips. The spine is readable and undamaged.PHOTOGRAPH INSERTS : The photograph inserts are in VG condition with a couple of small stains to the back of George, Paul and Ringos (quite small). No writing, rips or scuffs.POSTER : The poster is in FAIR condition. It is split along the folds, but is still holding together for dear life. THERE WAS NOTHING I HEARD DURING PLAYING OF ALL 4 SIDES THAT MADE ME WINCE (except for Yokos 'singing' on Bungalow Bill). IF YOU HAVEN'T GOT THIS LP AND DON'T WANT TO SPEND MEGA BUCKS GETTING ONE, THIS WILL DO. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR MINT (or indeed VG) OR ARE A DEALER LOOKING TO SELL IT ON, THIS IS NOT FOR YOU.
