Description
Part of an excellent long time stored rock/punk/new wave collection
This is The Beatles - White Album
YEAR & CATALOGUE NO: 1968 PMC7067
LABEL: Apple Records
LABEL CONDITION: Near Mint
VINYL CONDITION: Very Good
SLEEVE(S) CONDITION: Very Good
AUDIO: Excellent
NOTES - Very rare early 1st press (top opening sleeve) low numbered 0047973 with no 'E.M.I Recording' on any of the 4 labels which is very unusual, and complete with inners, pictures and poster. Runout stamps XEX 709-1 (side 1) XEX710-1 (side 2) XEX 711-1 (side 3) YEX 712-1 (side 4). Definitely a Y on side 4.
Vinyl - This is very good, it still holds its original brilliant shine and is very clean. It does show signs of play and has some hairlines and surface marks from general handling and sleeve removal.
Labels - These are spotless, sharp and near mint, brilliant colouring and no marks or damage. EMI recording not showing on any of the four labels.
Sleeve - This is showing some wear as seen in the pictures, some age related spotting and discolouring especially near the top opening sleeves. No splits or tears and has been housed in a plastic sleeve the last 10 years.
Pictures - In excellent shape, no signs of wear at all.
Poster - Excellent shape also, some very minor spotting in one area.
Audio - Excellent, a few minor crackles in places but not that spoils the enjoyment of this album. A brilliant listen.
Great collectors item, and very hard to find.
