Description
The Beatles - "The White ALbum". Mono. Apple Records , PMC 7067 /7068. 1968. First Pressing, UK issue complete, low number, "0058485". Double LP, Gatefold sleeve.
Here is a great condition, mono White album, low number. It is complete with the original poster, original band photographs, and the spacer sheet. Includes the original black inner sleeves. Original wide spine mono sleeve (no stereo text).
All of the run-off groove matrices end "-1" on all four sides, and the labels have the "Sold In the UK..." but do not have the "EMI recording" text.
Mother/stampers are as follows - 3 MT / 8 GM / 3 LD / 2 HG.
Note: The first two mother stamper codes I'm a little unsure of, the first actually has 3, 3's stamped in slightly different registers, and the second has two "G's" stamped in different registers so it may be "GGM". Hope that helps, any info out there let me know, I'm not an expert on stampers!
Condition: Sleeve is EX, just a bit of a grubby ring but fairly bright still and with sharp edges and minimal wear to corners, Small rectangle of sticker residue top right of rear of sleeve. The LPS themselves are very clean, no more than a few light hairlines, no deep scratches. Graded EX+. The poster is very clean with sharp edges and no pinholes, and no creases. All of the insert photos are present and clean with sharp edges, and no pinholes. Includes the original narrow spacer sheet. The black inner bags are intact without tears except for one solitary "nick" less than one centimetre in length. Great! Actually the best I have seen for quite a while!
