TOP LOADING GATEFOLD SLEEVE
MATRIX NO'S ; SIDE 1 XEX 709-1 with GH stamped to the 4 o'clock position and 4 at 10 o'clock : SIDE 2 XEX 710-1 with RG at 3 o'clock and 2(6 ?) at 9 o'clock : SIDE 3 XEX 711-1 with RL at 5 o'clock and 2 at 11 o'clock : SIDE 4 XEX 712-1 with TO at 12 o'clock and 4 at 6'o'clock.
The sleeve : Top loading gatefold which has grubby marks, some staining and splitting of the top layer at the spine. The top edge is a little wrinkled. There are some grubby marks around the embossed "The Beatles" and the all important low number "No. 00238072". The inner of the sleeve reflects the outer with some grubby marks and some corner creasing. A previous owner has ink marked the record numbers and ticked some of their preferred tracks It was made in GB and is a G & L sleeve. There is some ring wear.
The black record sleeves are shot with rips, tears and some taping.
Both records are in comparable condition and are a little dull with lots of small scratches and marks. (Neither record has had a professional clean and I'd recommend this - I have given them a dust just to listen to.) It isn't a complete write off listening to them. There are some clicks, pops and so on, but no loss to the top end of the sound. The louder tracks come off with the best sound quality.
The poster - The top half is detached and there is some serious wear around the folds and it is just about hanging together. At least it has one!
So, there you go, a nice low mono classic that might make a marriage to your pristine records and other bits. The records are graded G+ and the sleeve G+ based on the RRPG grades.
