PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER). OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP
WILDLY RARE unnumbered Jacksonville gatefold pressing from 1971? on Apple with printed grey text (not embossed) on the front cover, Record 1 and Record 2 text at 2:00 on the labels, Apple credit in the lower label rim text on sides 1 and 3 only, (C) Apple Records, Inc. to the right of the catalog number on the inside gatefold, J55 2/J50 #3/J52 #1 2/J49 #2 2 matrix suffixes etched in the dead wax, respectively, on sides one through three, all four original glossy card stock head shot photos and huge original six-panel full color poster with complete lyrics on the reverse!!! Release year is unclear as there isn't a single entry for this pressing anywhere in the massive, sprawling Discogs database whatsoever. THAT'S how you know it's rare. Photos have some masking tape on the rear and a few tiny pin holes (Ringo and Paul have 1 at the top corners, John has 1 in the top right corner and George has none) and poster has no holes, tears or tape residue whatsoever. LP sides 3 & 4 are VG/VG- visually only with some light paper scuffs. Both sides play fantastically. Side 1 is VG+ and side 2 is VG++. Cover is a nice VG with a small 2" piece of thin transparent tape in the top left hand corner on the front gatefold only.
I USE GOLDMINE GRADING~ MINT (SEALED) NEAR MINT: LOOKS UNPLAYED VG++: VERY VERY MINIMAL SIGNS OF US VG+: AVERAGE SIGNS OF USE, NOTHING DEEP, SUPERFICIAL VG: STILL AN OK RECORD, NOISE BETWEEN SONGS GOOD: WORN BUT PLAYS FINE WITH DISTRACTING NOISE POOR: FILLER COPY ONLY. LOTS OF SCRATCHES
