The rarest and most desirable of the album known as "the white album" but, in fact bearing the official title "the Beatles" is this, the MONO version as there are substantially different versions of many tracks from the more common stereo issue.
However, the most fantastic thing about the item I am offering here is the very low number that it has. Copies with the number on the cover under 1,000 hardly ever come on the market and are most desirable.
Since this is, firstly the extremely rare mono version and, secondly, in fabulous condition I know that there will be a lot of serious collectors bidding on this!
Now, the description,
The cover has the openings on the top edge which shows it is the correct, first issue. The inner covers are plain black paper, exclusive to the Apple label. The words "THE BEATLES" are embossed under the laminate as they should be and the number is there for all to see!
The overall condition of the cover can, in all honesty, be described as 'near mint'. there is the slightest of yellowing around the edges but, I do mean SLIGHT, it is hardly visible. There are no tears or creasing at all and, the only slight blemish is a faint brown stain on the top left of the back cover about 2cm in diameter.
The pictures and the poster are intact and perfect and both records together with their labels,are in fantastic condition. Again they would warrant the grading of 'near mint' without question.
Do, please, have a really good look at this and ask me any questions you might have; this is really the best and most desirable copy of this BEATLES album that I have seen. Whoever gets this will be a very lucky person!
