DESCRIPTION: The Beatles - White Album double LP. Really clean complete early UK MONO TOPLOADER from my personal collection. Complete with embossed sleeve numbered 0153109, 2 black inners, 4 prints + spacer, poster and -1 matrix throughout. What makes this unusual is that it has No Emi to 3 of the 4 labels. It has "An EMI Recording" to side 2 label only. One of the best sounding and looking copies of this that i came across. Vinyls kept in antistatic sleeves for many years and cover kept in a PVC double sleeve.
LABEL AND CAT NUMBER: Apple PMC 7067/8 .
YEAR OF RELEASE: 1968.
CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG+/VG+/VG+. Vinyls are both very clean with a nice dark sheen. Sits flat on turntable. Music is clean, clear, vibrant and loud throughout. There are a few soft ticks very occasionally. Cover is in very clean condition and retains excellent shape. if its not EX, it couldnt get much closer. It is firm and square and has only light edge-wear, light cornerwear and minimal creasing. Inside of gatefold is very clean. Good shape retained to fully legible spine. Poster is clean, unused and with a 1" split emanating from the edge of the bottom right hand side panel. Prints and spacer are very clean, unused, no issues. Black inners are also in excellent condition with minimal wear. One has just the start of a fine 2cm split to one edge only. No feathering to opening edges, no tears to centreholes. Very clean labels- no writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears.

GRADING SYSTEM: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades.
