For Sale is a NEAR MINT & COMPLETE 1968 UK First Press STEREO Beatles "White Album” (PCS 7067-8)
Outstanding top opening, glossy white numbered sleeve with original thick heavy vinyl + all the original inserts - all in superb condition
Matrix numbers: YEX 709-1, YEX 710-2 & YEX 711-1, YEX 712-1
Mother/stamper codes: 4/OM, 4/MT & 4/GDD, 4/MT

Gatefold SLEEVE is NEAR MINT – a real beauty! - still shiny and white - the glossy laminate is intact throughout, including on the spine and around the embossing of “The Beatles” where it’s often flaking – the individual serial number (No. 0339386) is crystal clear with no ink fading at all – inside the flipbacks are perfect and the gatefold still “creaks” when opened! – even the spine is sturdy, unsquashed and perfectly readable - the only flaws are some light edgewear to the top opening edge and a slight dent to 2 of the corners – see photos
VINYL is NEAR MINT – all four sides still retain their original jet black factory sheen – no scratches or deep scuffs - only blemishes are a few whispy sleeve removal marks, otherwise vinyl looks flawless throughout - looks almost unplayed!
All four dark green Apple LABELS are NEAR MINT – hard to see any spindle marks or marks of any kind
The large first issue Garrod & Lofthouse POSTER is MINT – no stains, pin marks or tears – still retains its original freshness and looks like it has never left the cover
The 4 first issue thick glossy PHOTOS are also MINT – no marks or tears – again, pristine unused condition
2 black die-cut INNERS are in EXCELLENT condition – no splits or rips, just minor creasing
There can’t be many original copies of The Beatles “White Album” that have been better preserved. The item will be sent recorded & insured and will be VERY well packed to ensure it arrives with the winning bidder in the same pristine condition it has been kept in for 48 years!
