The records have been play tested and are all in excellent sounding condition. Visually ranging from VG + on side one and three to EX on side four. Some light hairline markings are visible but have no impact on the sound, side two has a visible scratch over “Why Don’t We Do It In The Road" that remains superficial, it has no impact on the sound quality whatsoever, because of this, I grade it very good visually but the audio remains EX. On a few occasions you may hear light crackle sounds on silent runs but nothing intrusive. The Labels are also in exceptional condition; the apples have maintained their vibrant and rich colours, next to no spindle marks.  

                SLEEVE DETAILS

The numbered sleeve (# 150382) is the iconic top-loading version by Garrod and Lofthouse International Ltd. It is in NEAR MINT condition, one of the nicest I have ever seen!  Apart from light discoloration that should be expected from a 43 year-old record, it has few imperfections. It retains a fine shine and appearance with a nice ivory colour. THE BEATLES (embossed) and the number are nice and clean. The inside panels and openings are nice and crisp. A very small laminate spot can be found to deteriorate on the back cover. The wide spine is in exceptional condition as seen in the photographs; the wording has been beautifully preserved, very rare to find one in this condition.

ACCESSORIES

The original black inner sleeves are in EX + condition. The photos, poster/lyric sheet is in excellent condition as well.

I base my grading on the "RECORD COLLECTOR'S" grading system. The following text is from the "RECORD COLLECTOR" price guide:

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.

The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.

Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.

The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality,

despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, with out any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches.

The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
