Description

First mono UK pressing of The Beatles - The Beatles (the white album) from 1968. Original pressing with no EMI credits on the labels and top loading sleeve. The records look pretty rough, visually a G+ but the audio is surprisingly good, drifting between a VG- and VG+. There is background noise throughout which is more pronounced on quieter songs and mostly drowned out on louder ones. There are some clicks and pops here and there but no skips or repeating on my turntable. The labels have a small initial in black pen (see pictures) but are otherwise clean. The sleeve is slightly discoloured from age and has some water damage to the top, which is less noticeable on the front of the gatefold. Would otherwise be a VG+. Includes the original inner sleeves in fair condition, and a poster from a German copy. No photos unfortunately. Not a perfect copy but still a decent player of this fantastic album.
