For auction the Beatles classic 1968 UK 1st pressing (MONO) double Vinyl album ... The white album! serial number No, 0077288  with its original black innersleeves, poster and the four prints, .. a complete original set!

Condition.  the gatefold laminated TOP LOADING flipbacked sleeve is in an EXCELLENT clean overall white condition, with no damage or heavy creasing, the spine is clear and legible both loading edges are sharp and firm, slight ring impression evident.  and the embossed BEATLES LOGO and serial number are clear to the front panel!  there is no word stereo to the top right rear panel, making this the original MONO sleeve, just some age related handling and mild rubbing marks!

The two original black inners are also in nice condition and both grade VERY GOOD with no seam splits, one has some small window tears.  The original uk "kiss lips" poster is in a VERY GOOD  condition mild age soiling in places but overall is clean and intact with no damage.

All four apple labels hold the SOLD IN THE UK etc, text. very few spindle trails are evident but no graffiti or stickers all four labels are graded EXCELLENT sides 1 & 2  labels do not have an EMI RECORDING on them sides 3 & 4  have this!

VINYLS.  SIDE 1. XEX 709-1 4 GH  is in a clean VERY GOOD condition with a nice original shine, no groove wear and not too many surface marks! play tested excellent with no problems!

SIDE 2. XEX 710-1 3 AR  is also in a very nice condition as side 1. with the usual handling marks evident, but an original shine is maintained and also grades VERY GOOD play tested with no problems and the disc lies flat on the turntable with no warp or dish effect!

SIDE 3. XEX 711-1  JAA  grades VERY GOOD  nice and clean and playtested with no problems!

SIDE 4. XEX 712-1 6 GGA  grades VERY GOOD  all four sides have been play tested and sounded great in punchy MONO on my TECHNICS DECK and CLASS AA amp with MISSION SPEAKERS, and a nice overall shine to the vinyl is retained, this disc also lies flat on the turntable with no warp or dish effect!

All four sides have light surface marks and some light scuffs, most caused by those harsh original black innersleeves over the years! i would say there are more on disc 1. however there are no "feelable" marks/scratches and all four sides have a glossy shine with no groove wear and the playback on all four sides was EXCELLENT superb with no distortion ... sounds great!

The four original heavy card prints are clean and grade EXCELLENT

Overall a nice original and complete example of the hard to find MONO version of this classic album with a nice low number No, 0077288  and buy with confidence.... i get my gradings right (see feedback!) ...or your money back!

All vinyl sent in a heavy duty mailer with two stiffners next working day after payment clears! (please note that payment must be made within 7 days!) P&P UK 1ST CLASS RECORDED £4.00  EUROPEAN UNION (REGISTERED AIRMAIL) £10.00 WORLDWIDE (REGISTERED AIRMAIL) £19.50

I USE UK RECORD COLLECTOR MAG GRADINGS WHICH ARE .. EXCELLENT the record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.the cover and packaging might have slight wear/creasing.   VERY GOOD the record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. normal wear and tear on the cover and or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable.

If you have any questions please ask??? And thanks for your time in reading all this, and good luck if you do decide to bid!!!
