Description
The Beatles---"THe Beatles (White Album)"---Original UK 1st Pressing Mono Double Album In EX/VG Condition On The Apple Label--- -1, -1, -1 and -1 From 1968---Numbered Low 0042838 + Poster + Black Inners
This is a UK pressing from 1968 in mono on the Apple label, cat. no. PMC 7068 and matrices -1, -1, -1 and -1.
Vinyl: EX. The vinyl is in reasonable condition with a good shine and it has numerous marks and light scratches. However, it plays really well with no thumps or jumps with some light surface noise in quiet parts on S1, a little light ticking end of track 1 and into track 2 of S2. Side 3 and 4 are normally the lesser played sides and these play better. Rated EX because much of the sound is very clear when the music is playing.
Labels: VG+. Labels are in nice clean condition with a small inked name "Kevin" marked on 1 label of each disc. There is heavy use spindle wear.
Sleeve: VG. The gatefold sleeve is in solid condition with edge and corner wear and the usual discoloration. Not bad for 50 years old! The front is nice and clean and shiny with clear embossed title and clear low number 0042838. It still has the 2 original black die-cut inner sleeves but they are only G. Poster still there in G+ but there are no photos.
With a low start price you could get yourself a real bargain.
Many thanks for looking at this and our other vinyl to be auctioned.
Please note that all records (except those known to be unplayed) we sell are listened to in their entirety and are graded generously according to Record Collector guidelines. None of the vinyl has jumps or skips unless advised in the description.
