This rare record is in very good+ condition. The labels are very good, with spindle marks present on side 2 and 4, but no pen marks, tear or other damage. The vinyl itself is very good. Record one has a number of light hairlines present, but nothing serious and nothing slightly deep or feel able. Record 2 also has hairlines and also more light marks/scuffs. Both records are nice and flat and have a nice shine.
I play tested both the records and they played really well. They lay flat with no warp whatsoever and the sound is great. The play test went as follows:
Side 1: It played thorough with no jumps, skips or problems. Only very minor background noise between songs and in occasional quite section. Audio rating: EX
Side 2: Plays through with no skips or jumps. At very beginning there is a light crackle in the quiet parts. Also light background noise between songs and odd pop. Audio rating: VG
Side 3: Played through with no problems. A slight light crackle in quieter parts and between songs but no skips or jumps. Audio rating: VG+
Side 4: Plays through with no skips or jumps. At very beginning there is a light crackle in the quiet parts and also more at the very end. Also there is background noise between songs and the odd pop hear and there. Audio rating: VG
The gatefold sleeve is in excellent condition. It has only a little wear to the edges and corners(pics), and all writing is readable. The embossed Beatles title is visible, as is half the edition number. It begins 14.. but the rest has unfortunately rubbed off. There are no pen marks anywhere on the sleeve but there is a small 1inch tear on the top edge inside the gatefold and also an old sticker mark on the front in the bottom left corner. It contains 2 plain white inners, but unfortunately no cards or posters.
So to summarise, a rare record that isn't in pristine condition but also plays very well and has good sound quality. The sleeve is also not perfect but is strong and free from any real worrying damage.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent 'signed for', the next day after payment to ensure swift delivery.
