THE BEATLES - WHITE ALBUM  Apple Records PCS 7067 & 8 (Stereo)

Complete package, which comprises of two 12 inch vinyl LP's, one gatefold sleeve, two protective sleeves, four photographs and one folded poster.  

This early pressing has been with the same owner since new and has not been played more than a couple of dozen times. The black vinyl is as brilliant as when first purchased and apart from a minor surface blemish on the lead out groove area on sides 1 and 2, which does not affect the playing of any tracks, each record is in superb condition and virtually unmarked. The Apple labels, printed with Sold in U.K. subject to resale price conditions, see price list and An E.M.I recording mfd. in U.K. are near perfect with minor spindle marks, making the overall condition of both records excellent. 

The heavyweight fully laminated gatefold sleeve has the original style top side opening with The Beatles embossed and individual number 437601 stamped on the front cover and Stereo printed on the back. Opening up the cover reveals the track listing followed by the text EMI Records (The Gramophone Co. Ltd.) Hayes, Middlesex, England and Printed and made in Great Britain by Garrod and Lofthouse International Ltd on the left side with black & white pictures of The Beatles on the right side. The spine is printed with The Beatles and Stereo PCS 7067-8 Mono PMC 7067-8.

Despite being carefully stored in a record case, the glossy white sleeve has yellowed subtlely over the years, but is hardly noticable. The laminate has lifted marginally around The Beatles embossed lettering on the front and on a tiny area near the back bottom left corner, but this is in keeping with its age. All edges, corners and spine are near perfect, making the sleeve excellent.

The original two matt black protective sleeves, have circular cut-outs in the centre position on one side, which reveal the Apple labels and all corners are shaped. There are no splits, creases or tears and both are near mint.

Four individual 200mm x 290mm photographs of The Beatles, have no creases or tears. Edges are near perfect and retain the full colour and gloss exactly as when first issued. A protective sheet is included to safeguard the top picture when stacked on top of each other, making the condition near mint. 

Large folded 850mm x 565mm colour poster, which includes lyrics to all the tracks on the reverse side, has no splits, creases or tears and all edges are near perfect. The matt finish poster retains all the brightness of the original colour printing, which makes this near mint.
