This record is in excellent condition. It has some light spindle marks visible on the labels but there is not an excessive amount. There are no pen marks, stains or scuffs anywhere and the centres show only a little wear(side 1). Overall the iconic yellow Parlophone labels are clean, bright and in good shape with no major issues to report.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides have nothing remotely serious visible in normal light but there are a few light minor lines, faint marks and some incredibly minor wispy manufacturing whiskers showing. All these lines or 'marks' are very minor however and overall the record is in nice shape. It has a lovely lustre and considering its age and that it is used it is still excellent all round. There are a few more incredibly light wispy lines visible under very bright light but not a drastic amount and of course nothing remotely serious. The record has no serious scuffs, nasty marks or blemishes and has a lovely vivid gloss.
I play tested the record and it played really well and sounded great throughout. It lays flat, there is no movement in the record arm and the sound produced is excellent throughout with little to no surface noise audible. There was only a minor hint of surface noise in the run in/out on and still little to nothing during play. There are no skips, sticks, clicks or pops and overall it was a pleasure to play test. I heard two or three faint 'thuds' or noises in track 4 on side 1 but this was it on both sides. Other than these which were minor I noted very little interference of any sort and also very little distortion. Overall a classic lp in very nice condition which plays well throughout.
The front laminated sleeve is in excellent- condition. It has no major wear or rubbing to the edges and corners(pics), and the writing along the spine is all clearly legible. There is however some black or grubby marks/stains on the bottom half of the spine(see pics). Other than these there is also some light age related discolouring to the rear and also very mild ring marks showing. There is no major issues with creasing and no tears, scuffs or pen marks. Overall the sleeve is excellent and is strong and tidy all round. Considering its age it is clean and been preserved well with no major issues to report. I have tried to describe the sleeve as best I can but please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible as to its condition.
It contains its original 'Use Emitex' poly-lined inner which is in excellent- condition with no splits, tears or pen marks but some creasing, ring marks and discolouring.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to try to ensure a swift delivery.I hope my photos are comprehensive enough but if you have any questions then don't hesitate to contact me.
