Description
This is the Beatles second album on Parlophone (PCS 3045) and is in stereo. The matrix numbers are YEX 110-2 and YEX 111-2 and there are also the letters GG and GM engraved in the inner vinyl on sides 1 and 2 respectively. I purchased the album new in the '60s and have looked after it well. It has been stored vertically alongside other LPs in a record cabinet all its life.
The record has a few barely visible surface marks which can only just be seen if held at an angle with a light shining on it. It plays very well with no skipping or jumping and there seems to be hardly any surface noise or sound deterioration after all these years.
The front cover is in excellent condition with a clearly legible spine with no splits in the lamination. The back of the album cover is also in very good condition and undamaged with just the ususal slight yellowing and ageing of the cardboard after all these years. The cover is printed by Garrard and Lofthouse.
The album comes with its original inner sleeve which has no folds,splits or tears.
