Description
For auction here is a hard to find original UK copy of WITH THE BEATLES by THE BEATLES on the yellow and black Parlophone label dating from 1963.
It is a stereo copy with catalogue number is PCS3045. The matrix numbers are; side 1 - YEX 110-2 mothers and stampers 3, M and side 2 - YEX 111-2 mothers and stampers 1, M. This is the STEREO 1st press with the JOBETE credit for the track MONEY.
Visually the vinyl is in very nice condition with just a couple of very light surface marks on each side which do not affect playback. There are no deep feelable scratches at all and the disc lays flat with no warping. I have played it through and it sounds great with no noticeable background noise, even between tracks and no jumps or sticks. The labels are clean and free from writing. The vinyl grades as EX.
The cover for this album is also very nice indeed. This is the original laminated flipback cover with STEREO text in the top corner. All the flipbacks are intact, the edges are in good shape and the spine is 100%. The rear is clean with no writing at all just a little yellowing with age. The only faults with the cover are an area of very small area wear just to the right of the STEREO text on the front cover and some light superficial creasing at the top, spine and opening edges. These covers are quite hard to find in this condition and this comfortably grades EX.
It comes in the original EMITEX polylined inner which is EX with no writing or tears.
All in all this is a very nice copy of a rare album.
