Description
Beautiful copy of the original 1968 Los Angeles pressing of the Beatles' White Album on Capitol / Apple SWBO-101. Numbered fairly low at A-0408319. Both discs are simply gorgeous, with all the shine and luster of a new copy. I would say they are NM but there are one or two very slight superficial sleeve scuffs, which do not affect the play in the least. This copy plays just about flawlessly and simply beautifully. The cover is in exceptionally nice shape as well, being nice and shiny with only light wear. There are two short seam splits at the top (see photo) which measure 1" and 2". Not bad at all. There is a touch of gentle wear at the top left corner as well, but also not bad. On the whole this is a beautiful cover with way less wear than most original copies have. Even sitting untouched on a shelf over the years these covers commonly wear out worse than this. An exceptional copy. The poster and photos are also included. All four photos are in great shape but the poster has corner tears from being posted. See photos. It is not ruined but it is definitely damaged at the corners. The lower left corner has the remains of the "Apple Records, Inc." which indicates a first printing of the poster. Aside from the issues I have mentioned this is truly a top copy and plays just beautifully.
