Superb very low numbered copy of this classic album.
Visually the vinyl is in pristine condition. It is pretty close to NM. On first inspection there are no markings at all and the vinyl has a beautiful gloss sheen. The only reason I have marked this down to EX+ is a couple of exceptionally light sleeve markings which are visible when viewed under very strong light at an angle. The album plays beautifully with some minor surface crackle in the run in grooves. Again I will grade as EX+ but overall the albums play NM. I have listened to the album on a Goldring Lenco G75 turntable with a Shure N75ED Type 2 cartridge.
In general the sleeve is a strong EX but has a small hole in the laminate on the front and some discoloration of the spine and some light creasing. Because of these minor flaws I will grade as EX-.
This copy is 100% complete with all our photos which are in EX condition, the photo spacer which has some foxing (a good sign!), black inners and the poster which is in VG+ condition.
Please note the white specks in some of the photos are glare and not marks on the vinyl.
IMPORTANT: Any bidders with a feedback of a score of less than 10 please contact me prior to bidding. I will reserve the right to cancel any such bids.
Happy bidding!
Please note I use UK Record Collector grading system for all albums with the addition of the accepted Near Mint category:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.
The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.
NEAR MINT: The record appears new but is known to have been played because the label has light spindle marks or because it has come from a previous owner
and is assumed to have been played by them
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.
The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality,
despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches.
The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc.
The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
I try to be as accurate as possible, however, we are all human so if there are any problems please let me know.
