Available here is a double 12" vinyl LP set by The Beatles - commonly known as the White Album.

This version is the white vinyl DMM/Direct Metal Mastering pressing, issued in Germany by Apple Records in 1985, with the catalogue number 1C 172-04 173/74. It is also a numbered incarnation - this one has No 103285 pressed into the front cover, so I’m assuming that it was also a limited edition in this form. Original front cover sticker is still firmly affixed with The Beatles embossed on the front and EMI logo embossed on the back. It comes complete with the original fold-out lyric picture poster, together with the four glossy colour portrait photos. This pressing is quite rare and collectible.

Vinyl Condition - Excellent - Both records are very bright and clean and look barely played - no obvious marks and no worrying scratches. Minor pressing colour blemishes which is not uncommon with coloured vinyl. Having listened all the way through, I can confirm that the sound quality is for the most part superb and there is no jumping or sticking, and barely a click. Background crackle/noise is virtually non-existent and low level if heard. One small issue - minor sequential static noise for four or five revolutions, during the final track on side two.

Cover/Sleeve Condition - Very Good+ - Original gatefold sleeve with light signs of wear and minor marks but no damage or splits. Inner sleeves are single sided die-cut and poly-lined. One is very bright, the other a little discoloured. They have different textures, so I’m assuming that one is a replacement.

Condition of Photos - Excellent - No damage or creasing to the prints.

Condition of Poster - Excellent - No damage or creasing present.
