Description

Original 1960s self-titled, two-LP set of The Beatles (commonly known as the "White Album"). This is on the Apple label SWBO-101. This has the original embossed gatefold cover design with the individual serial number stamped in the lower-right corner of the front side!! This also comes complete with the large, folded photo/lyric poster and the four individual group member photos!! Please note the poster appears to be from a slightly later pressing of this LP; the four photos are definitely original first prints. Grading is as follows:
The vinyls are both in very clean good to very good (G to VG) condition with full gloss, just a little bit of mainly light general surface wear only, and all four sides play very well overall! Just a little minor, general surface noise present in a few of the quieter passages and a few minor pops etc. I played all four sides with a regular Stanton stylus (tracked at 1.5 grams). There is a small, original owner's initials written lightly in pen on the sides 1 and 3 labels and the side 4 label has just a little light age-spotting/foxing as well... Both records are housed in their original plain white inner sleeves, one of which does have a little surface tearing on one side.

The gatefold cover is in very solid VG condition and it presents very nicely overall!! The top seam of the front record pocket is completely split and there is some mainly light, general surface wear as well. The spine and the other three seam edges are tight and unsplit. The poster shows only the most minor signs of any past handling, but no rips or tears etc. The four photos are all in great shape!!

Please review the photos for song titles and additional details. Please scroll below to see my full vinyl and cover/sleeve grading guidelines. Vinyl gradings are visual only, unless I specifically state otherwise. Please also see the other, similar items I currently have listed on Ebay; I do combine shipping.

I personally write all of my own descriptions, take all of my own photos, and package all items for mailing myself.  I do not use text, photos or information from “other” sources and would certainly never do so without referencing them. Items pictured in any of my listings are always the actual items that buyers will receive from me.

Buyer satisfaction and returns:  Item must be returned to me in the same condition as it was packaged and mailed to the buyer.

My vinyl and cover/sleeve gradings are as follows:

MINT: I do not use this grade except for sealed/unopened items.

NEAR MINT or MINT MINUS: Vinyl looks basically brand new, untouched, unplayed or nearly unplayed. Cover looks pretty much as new with no real flaws to speak of. This is basically how the item would have looked when it was new from the factory.

VG++: Very close to M-, with vinyl showing only the very slightest, most subtle signs of any past handling or play. Cover may show just the barest hint of wear from age, but nothing at all serious or detracting.

VG+: Vinyl shows some subtle signs that it was played in the past, but was generally well taken care of. Cover shows only some minor signs of age or wear, but nothing too detracting.

VG: Vinyl is beginning to show more obvious signs of past handling and play but still has strong sound quality overall. Cover is beginning to show more signs of age and wear, but is fully intact and still displays very well overall.

GOOD: Vinyl has very obvious signs of wear from over the years, but still plays strongly and enjoyably enough. Cover has obvious wear and tear from age, but is intact and still displayable.

***My very good and good records are very good and good, not bad and even worse! I also do not use the EX (excellent) grading at all.***

FAIR:  Record wasn’t properly cared for in the past and very clearly shows it, but it is still playable and should be enjoyable enough for some. I rarely offer records in this condition.
