I use the record collector grading system of Bad / Poor / Fair / Good (G) / Very Good / Excellent / Mint.
Please see below for grading details.
I also use a + or a - for grades that I consider slightly better or worse.
A VG disc on this site will not be is nasty condition like many sellers.
All records are sent out in plastic covers.

THE WHITE ALBUM.
ORIGINAL UK APPLE STEREO LP PCS 7067, PCS 7068.
A nice well cared for example and better than so many you will see.
The Cover / EX condition. The top opening stereo cover with Number 0399697 is in very nice condition. I will grade the cover as a full EX condition with some light age wear. The spine is tidy but has cracked a little in some places. Overall, the cover looks fantastic.
The Records / EX-/EX condition. Both discs are in really nice condition and have been well cared for. Under halogen light, the records have a super original gloss with just some normal inner sleeve removal wear and some very light surface wear. Both discs play excellent, a really nice set of original records. This was my late husband's keeper copy.
Matrix Numbers: YEX 709-1, YEX 710-1, YEX 711-1, YEX 712-1
Labels / EX condition. All four sides have an EMI recording. A very nice set of labels as you will see by my pictures.
The Inners / VG condition. Two original black inner sleeves in decent condition with a couple of small tears. These are in decent shape for these fragile inners. The discs are now housed in two new covers to protect the originals.
Photos / EX+ condition. A wonderful set of original photos. These are the correct photos that are thicker with deep rich colours.
Poster / EX condition. Nice example with some light wear only. The poster has no pinholes or tears.
I USE THE UK GRADING SYSTEM BELOW.
Mint - as new and in perfect condition.
Excellent - A real nice example with light wear only. An EX disc will play great and the cover will be very nice too.
Very Good - The disc will have light surface wear and some light marks. The record will still play very well but may have some surface sound and a little crackle as this is graded as VG. The cover will have some creasing and storage age wear. The disc and cover will have no very serious faults. A VG disc and cover will also not be perfect!
Good / G condition - The disc will have very visible surface wear and light marks with some deeper marks. The cover will show much age wear and will not be the best example! The record will still play but will have surface sound and ticks etc.
Fair - This will be a tatty example of both disc and cover. The record will play with surface sound and noise. The cover will look tatty from age and storage wear.
Bad / Poor -This will be a badly worn example of both record and cover. The disc may jump or play with much surface sound. I would rarely sell an item like this.
