THE BEATLES: With The Beatles (Australian Parlophone, PCSO 3045, 1963, LP)
Stereo copy on the silver and black label design in lovely overall condition. As far as I know, it was only issued in this sleeve design in Australia, but I'm sure Beatlesologists will prove me wrong if not! This includes the stereo sticker (x 2) that was stuck to otherwise dual mono/stereo sleeves (both catalogue numbers are listed). Sleeve and labels both credit track 3, side 2 as "Gotta" (I have no idea if this was ever corrected on Australian copies).
This has the short-lived "Albert" publishing credit for 'Money'.
The sleeve has less ring wear than almost all copies I have seen for sale in the forty years I have had this. The original price is written on the rear (from the days that Australia still used shillings and pence - it went decimal in February 1966). The record has some light marks, including a noticeable and long surface mark on side 2 but this does not cause any audible sound - it is cosmetic only (note the photos are all before I cleaned the record surface). The record plays at a very nice EX with only occasional minimal and light background even in the lead-ins and between tracks, plus a few random non-repeating pops that a proper wash clean will probably remedy. This is a lovely play!
All I have done is to give is a once over with squeegee and water. A proper clean in a proper record cleaning machine will probably provide something even more lovely than this already sounds. The original owner evidently recorded it to reel-to-reel after the first few plays and it sounds like it (his entire collection, mostly classical, was in top notch playing condition)!
* * * * Records generally have hairline or other surface marks from removal from/insertion into sleeves - these are not mentioned unless causing audible noise. Records are play tested unless stated and any defects over and above what should be expected of the generic Record Collector grading are described in the listing. Please look at the photos carefully for condition of sleeves, etc.

* * * * All items are from my own various collections and most have been in storage for 20+ years. Lockdowns (and various heart ops.) made me wonder why I have thousands of records that I will never choose to listen to again.
