Matrix Numbers Side 1 : XEX 447-1N with 1C at 9 o'clock position and ML at 3 o'clock position
Matrix Numbers Side 2 : XEX 448-1N with 2 at 9 o'clock position and PP at 3 o'clock position
Side 1 has the letters M & T stamped either side of the spindle hole. I believe this is a tax code or something ?
This first press mono copy has the 'You Really Gotta Hold On Me' title misprint on both sleeve and record. It also has the incorrect publishing credit "Jobete Mus. NCB" for the song 'Money' which was changed on the 2nd pressing.
First press copies with the matrix ending "-1N" are reported to be different from subsequent versions (so-called "Loud Cut"), in that after they were issued, the EMI cutting engineers were requested to cut down on the bass, since early buyers complained of skipping needles due to mistracking.
Front laminated sleeve (back is matt) Printed and made by Ernest J Day & Co Ltd, London. PMC 1206 PCS 3045. No splits or tears. No writing. Strong edges
Original 'EMITEX' paper inner with plastic lining (slightly yellowed with age) is in very good condition with no major rips/tears etc.

Rare original MONO pressing of this classic album from THE BEATLES. Black and Yellow Parlophone labels with silver print.
The record does have some VERY minor crackle/popping (as you'd expect for a record this old!) but plays very well and sounds strong throughout. It would probably benefit from a good / deep professional clean if you can sort one out.
There are a few hairline scratches/markings on the vinyl itself, but it still sounds remarkably good considering it's age.
The original Ernest J. Day & Co Ltd sleeve is in very good + condition. The front retains it's strong original lamination and there are no seam splits. There is no writing or tearing to the sleeve at all. I've replaced the original Emitex paper inner with a new polylined one and both will be sent with the record.
Anyway, this is a classic LP and a must have for any collection.
I got this along with a whole hoard of other original 60's vinyl LPs from a family friend that had them stored away almost forgotten for the best part of 40 years. I shall be listing ALL of these so please keep checking abck to see what else i've unearthed from the box of delights.
