My listings will include rare and not so rare but as vinyl is in such demand these days I'll be covering the whole spectrum as I firmly believe there is a market for everything. All records have been played through at least once (in order to give a true grading) on my REGA P1 turntable (which sounds superb!) , which I bought from my Leeds stockist, Audio Republic, details of which will be mailed out with the vinyl. I've got a huge stock of records at the moment so if there is anything you are after drop me an email or I can be seen on the Record Fair circuit!...next one is at NORTHALLERTON MARKET SQUARE on SATURDAY 30th MAY !! .if you love vinyl and don't attend fairs, shame on you!!!! The fairs currently on offer are superb and are far more pleasurable experience than sitting at home, trawling the internet for those shabby so called mint records. Rest assured, MINT means MINT (no marks/no scratches/no spindle marks/faultless vinyl/faultless sleeve)....and the term VERY GOOD does not mean trashed!!!!....none of this "played once" misleading nonsense, the number of spindle marks on the label has no bearing on number of plays !!!!!!!!!! I'll be continually listing some great stuff so keep an eye out.
Hard to find in this condition.......THE BEATLES "With The Beatles" UK 1963 PARLOPHONE PMC 1206....MONO 14 track classic !! MATRIX NUMBERS 1N 1N !!! XEX 447-1N with stampers at 4 o'clock RTO and 10 o'clock 10 / XEX 448-1N with stampers at 3 o'clock GLD and 8 o'clock 3 !!!! FIRST PRESSING !! THE PARLOPHONE CO.LTD and NO "SOLD IN THE UK" !!!! WELL PLAYED BUT 1 OWNER AND WELL LOOKED AFTER.....PLAYS TRULY SUPERB !!!! To be honest, I do get hold of a lot of Beatles LP's but the majority are knackered and not worth listing !!!! HARD TO FIND LIKE THIS !!!.
CONDITION
SLEEVE
The classic Garrod & Lofthouse Patents Pending front laminated flipback sleeve is in GREAT condition !!!!! A crisp sleeve with only slight wear to a couple of the corners, very very slight ring impression on the front face, a few small laminate creases (mainly round the edges), and some slight discolouration/stains to the rear unlaminated face...and that's about it !!!! There is no edgewear, no writing, no tears, no seam splits, no stickers , no wear to the opening edge (only some light thumbing) and no wear to a perfectly readable and square spine !!! The sleeve grades VERY GOOD+++
INNER SLEEVE
The polylined IMPORTANT inner sleeve grades EXCELLENT++
VINYL
The record has a few light, totally non sounding surface marks/scratches and only a few of the lightest sleeve removal marks/scuffs when viewed at an angle under a bright light !!! The record plays superb (play grade EXCELLENT+++) with little or no background noise (even between tracks!!) and no hiss/ no distortion/ no skips/ no jumps / no clicks / no pops and sounds awesome....makes a refreshing change listening to a Beatles original without the pops and crackles !!!!!! The vinyl grades VERY GOOD++
LABELS
The labels with the Z T Tax Code grade EXCELLENT++ with a lot of visible spindle marks on each side !!!!
