This is the much sought after Japanese Red Vinyl Mono pressing of the Beatles album "Yellow Submarine” from the desirable 1982 Toshiba EMI Odeon limited edition series (1 of approximately 10,000 copies) with OBI intact and in perfect condition! The catalog number for this LP is EAS-70138 MONO. It is the original UK mono mix pressed in Japan on high quality translucent red vinyl. A must for the serious audiophile or Beatles collector! This album is STUNNING and still has the USA importer’s light cellophane outer wrapper! This LP appears to be UNPLAYED (I used my Rega P9/Benz high end stereo to play grade it once). If you want a perfect copy this is it. This is a super rare condition for this imported Beatles pressing and very hard to find. It would make a great addition to any music collection. GRADING: Vinyl and Labels: Play graded and Visually graded = MINT (absolutely no marks to vinyl, no spindle marks) Appears UNPLAYED! No distortion, no clicks, no pops, no background crackles, very strong and clear audio! The bass on this is pretty amazing! Cover and OBI: NEAR MINT (no creases, bends, tears, stains, wear or writing, no ring wear, no seam splits, no fading), all edges are crisp and clean, maybe just the slightest hint of an impression from the record inside keeps the cover from being true Mint (which is how most people would grade this cover). The original lyric sheet and LP inner are part of the package. This album was graded using the Goldmine grading system under a 100W bare bulb, and all visible defects for this album are reported above.
