Description
Up for auction is a nice early pressing of The Beatles album Yesterday And Today, originally released in the U.S. on Capitol Records (ST-2553) in 1966.
-Guaranteed early pressing, not reissue
-Early A9/B8 stampers in deadwax -Original black & rainbow rim Capitol labels -Original paste-down RIAA cover
-Original '66 gold Capitol inner sleeve -Gold Record stamp on cover dates within first year of release
-No UPC/bar code on cover
Condition: The cover is still beautiful with only minor signs of wear. No ring wear on front or back. Seams are very nice, no splits, no cracking or flaking. Spine is nice, and titles are clean and legible. Corners are nice. Has a couple tiny staple holes upper right corner. Also, there appears to be a tiny mark of some kind on John's face--but it's hard to make out. Cover is nice and white, no age discoloration. Very nicely preserved original cover. Grade: Near Mint Minus (NM-)
Vinyl is also in very nice condition, still has its original shine. No obvious scratches or scuffs, just some faint, superficial signs of having been taken out of paper inner sleeve a few times. Labels are clean, no marks around spindle holes, indicating little previous play. Vinyl looks like it's been played only a couple times, but handled with great care. Very nicely preserved. Grade: Near Mint (NM)
