Description
I am selling my complete collection of The Beatles and Beatles-related records, albums, alternate versions, and novelties.
This lot is for a hard-to-find vinyl LP record album titled YESTERDAY AND TODAY by THE BEATLES released in 1966 under the Capitol Records label # ST-2553.
This is the original 1966 STEREO release under the Capitol Records label with the black label and RAINBOW rim ring around the label. This label does NOT have "Subsidiary" printed on the bottom of the label. This indicates an early pressing of this original 1966 release. The later pressings included the words "Subsidiary of Capitol Industries" at the bottom of the label near the rainbow rim..
This is not a subsequent re-release of later years, such as having different colored labels, or by Apple Records, or covers that have a red award seal on the front.. (The Stereo versions are also harder to find over the Mono versions, as stereo was more expensive and just beginning to be popular.)
- The record jacket cover is in good condition with no split seams or writing. There is a water stain on the bottom right-hand & left-hand corners of both sides.
- The record is in excellent condition. I just saw a small surface scratch on one side, but does not affect the playing at all - no skips.
- A generic white paper inner sleeve is included.
