THE BEATLES YESTERDAY & TODAY ST 2553 STEREO 2ND STATE PASTE OVER BUTCHER COVER
The stereo version is rarer than the mono version. There were 750, 000 albums shipped with a 5 to 1 mono to stereo versions. The cover was fabricated by the Imperial Paper Box Corporation, Inc., Brooklyn, NY as noted by the number 2 in the lower right corner on the reverse side. The album was pressed at the Scranton, PA plant. (The Beatles' Story On Capitol Records, Part 2: The Albums by Bruce Spizer)
The album cover is split on the top and bottom and worn on the spine. It has tape marks on both sides and initials are written on the top right on the front of the cover. The inner sleeve was added and is not the original version that came with the album.
