I have collected records since I was very young, however Iincreasingly I have realised that I have far too many, and soI have been slowly trying to rationalise my extensive collection over the years, I have sold many major rarities over the years, from major BEATLES and 60s rarities, through PUNK and PROG ROCK, CLASSICAL and BLUES. Basically I've had alot of very rare records and in dribs and drabs have sold them off. I've never had negative feedback, and had many repeat customers. I will only post completely insured and tracked.

The Beatles' Yellow Submarine was their least commercially succesful UK album, and at a time when MONO was becoming pretty much obsolete, MONO was almost unheard of for this LP, nonetheless here is a copy now!  It was their least succesful LP, not least because it only featured 6 original Beatles songs, 2 of which had been available for a few years before (Yellow Submarine 1966, and All You Need Is Love 1967), the four remaining titles are insteresting, they consist of cast offs from their psychedelic period, or else misfits. My personal higlights are George Harrison's Only A Northern Song, supposedly a sly dig at tyhe monopoly he felt Paul and John had over what original songs went on the albums, but is actually a really strong piece, with an incredibly beautiful jarring harmony on the word "Brown", listen out for it, it's great! The other really strong track to me, is "Hey Bulldog", a really strong riff that still puts to shame many other bands of the time, even if the words aren't possibly as deeply thought through as we'd been used to expect from the Beatles. These two tracks alone make this album really worthwhile seeking out! It's All Too Muchn (another Harrison track) is also a bonus, though for me "All Together Now" could have been left off! Sorry if that offends anyone! Just my opinion! Side two is made up of the Original Film Score, composed and Orchestrated by George Martin. And consists of 7 tracks. Unlike many of the albums George Martin had released throughout the 60s which were direct interpretations of Beatles tracks (sometimes with Beatles present), this is a bit more original, and consists of original pieces around Beatles themes such as the track "Yellow Submarine". Good soft classical film score, but certainly not what the record buying public were willing to fork-out for on a "BEATLES" record! Also as mentioned earlier from 1967, MONO copies sold had been in decline, and this record, released in 1969, was the last new UK Beatles LP to be mixed for MONO as a result. It sold in incredibly limited numbers, which makes this record extremely desirable!

 
RECORD CONDITION: VG, This record is in nice condition, it has a general dusting of hairlines/surface marks, visible when angled into strong direct light, and a couple of slightly pronounced ones, though nothing to cause anything like a jump, and only a couple that will cause a few ticks, as any classical record collectors amongst you will know, even the very slightest imperfections are shown up in dynamically queit movements of classical music, and this is the case is quieter passages of the orchestral score on side 2, however still very listenable!
RECORD LABELS: EX-, just a few light spindle indents around the central spindle hole, no graffiti/rips/stains/abbrasions other than that, really quite fresh labels! INNER SLEEVE: VG, the original (die-cut on one side matt black) Apple inner-sleeve is present, and as you'll know these are hard to find in themselves, this one is OK, it has edge wear and folding and small nicks along the top opening mouth edges, and a couple of small nicks in the die-cut central hole, and the sides have worn through for the top 2" on one side, and over half way on the other, but tgenerally the paper is still in decent condition, there's no part of paper missing, and as those of you who have looked for them, you'll know this in it's self is an acheivement with one of these inners! SLEEVE: VG+, Generally clean, and fairly crisp, with slight edge-wear at 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock, where the record has bashed from inside, though neither has worn through at these points. Also a small amount of handling foxing along the side opening mouth edges, though no rips are there. The spine holds up really nicely and is fully legible, all of the corners are in decent condition, "from andy" is neatly written in very small ball-point pen ink, right at the bottom right hand corner of the back sleeve, though other than that the non-laminated back sleeve is pretty uncommonly clean for one of these! This is a first pressing with the lack of printer credits error on the bottom flip-back tab. All flip-back tabs are quite crisp and fully stuck on!
