Description

THE BEATLES - Yesterday And Today
2nd state butcher cover LP

Original USA pressing LP on Capitol Records; mono. It's late, so I'm not going to make a lengthy description right now. I do want to sell this before long so this here's the basic, simple info necessary. Will flesh it out over next couple days if it doesn't sell.

Here it is, the 4th butcher cover I've had. Back cover number (manufacturing plant #) is a 3. This one sure looks like an easily peelable copy, as top slick has been pulled up on bottom corner (see pics) with absolutely no tears or "sticker pull" and no glue remnant left. So, it's a great candidate for peeling. Seams ans spine are good with no splitting. Minor writing - name(s) - on front; brown water stain on back, at top edge. Light brown water stain on front, large circular shape, around the boys - strange. Cover is overall between VG and VG+.

Black V is clearly visible on front, but the pulled up corner verifies easily. Actually that makes it nice; it's the best of both worlds, a 2nd state cover on which the underneath image is visible! Record and labels don't really matter but I know the record isn't in great shape so I'll just say 'VG'.

This was hard cover to photograph. I couldn't get a pic that didn't look worse than it actually is. Obviously it's not in GREAT shape but it's nice, nicer than appears here, for sure.
