Description
- Capitol Records ST-2553, this is an original stereo pressing of the classic Beatles album "Yesterday And Today."This copy is a second state "paste over", with the group/trunk slick pasted over the original "Butcher" cover. The black "V" of Ringo's sweater is clearly visible on the front of the jacket, and the album has the proper "RIAA 2" notation on lower back corner of the jacket. I would grade the cover EX (excellent), as it shows some handling and a few dings at edges (I counted three). There is some minor wear to the corners, so I took photos of each one and have included them in the listing. Lower left corner shows some faint staining at corner of slick, while lower right corner shows about 3/4 of an inch of wear to the edge. Also visible is a hint of ring wear and some slight aging discoloration on the back along spine. Overall, it is very clean and most definitely in collectable condition. Vinyl grades a shiny and clean NM-/EX. High sheen is still visible, as there are only some minor paper/surface hairlines visible under light. Sound quality is solid throughout, while labels are crisp with no spindle wear. Original gold/yellow Capitol Records inner sleeve is also included in excellent condition.
