Description

Here is an original, and increasingly hard-to-find in "as-nice-as-this" condition, monophonic vinyl recording of "Yesterday and Today" by The Beatles. As evidenced by the spindle hole, this record has been handled with discernible care over the decades. Any surface wear does not impact play (i.e. there are no skips); the listening experience, although not perfect, is solid. As a 47 year old record it play grades as VG++ (aka "Excellent") throughout. The winning bidder receives a needledrop CD (mint) of this mono recording to accompany their record. Frankly, the MONO first pressings of this record were the only way to listen to it in 1966 and for years later; the first stereo pressings, with several (and unnecessary) duophonic/fake stereo renditions, remain as irritating to listen to today as they did in mid-1966. End of editorial rant.

The Capitol T 2553 black rainbow labels on both sides are excellent; both are clean and clear. The cover sports some minor storage rubbing but no stains or mishaps are evident. The original orange "buy Capitol's Kingston Trio and Peggy Lee and Beach Boys and Peter and Gordon records" inner sleeve is included. There is no writing on the record, cover, or inner sleeve. The record will be housed in a MFSL sleeve and placed, along with the record jacket containing the inner sleeve and cutout insert, inside a polypropylene cover.

Shipping by USPS Media Mail. International customers must contact me before bidding; I need to consider and pass judgement on your purchase record and your "ship-to" location before allowing you to bid or purchase. I will not ship to locations where the shipping and/or postal services are problematic (e.g. Russia); an international buyer must pay actual shipping cost to his or her location.

Questions are welcome. Thank you for your interest.
