THE BEATLES 'HELP!' 1965 STEREO LP.

Original Soundtrack Album.

Pressed in Germany and released as Odeon SMO 84008.

White/Gold "Alle Rechte...." Stereo label.

Has a minor label error in that there is a '4' missing from the side 1 label next to the track 'I Need You' [see photo].

Side 1:  SHZE-162-A-1.

Side 2:   SHZE-162-B-1.

AUDIO:  Play grades as mainly EX but VG in places.

There are no sticks, jumps or groovewear. There is a little light crackle between tracks. On side 2 there is a 2cm. 'feelable' scratch which runs through 'It's Only Love' and just into 'You Like Me Too Much' which at first gives a very quiet 'tic' on each revolution and from about halfway into the track these start to become louder and the last few can be classed as 'clicks'. There are also x2 'clicks' in the middle of 'I Need You' on side 1.  Both sides have a few faint 'heartbeats'. On side 2 there is a little light crackle and and a few light 'clicks' during 'Yesterday'.

VISUAL: Still retains a black glossy shine. When tilted under normal daylight side 1 appears unmarked, side 2 has a x2 non-sounding needle lines and x3 short scratches [2 - 3 cm. long] of which x2 are non-sounding and one of which gives the 'tics'/'clicks' mentioned above.  Under halogen lights both sides have a few more short, light marks. Has quite a few spider lines tight to the spindle holes.

Sleeve grades as VG.

Complete and clean with no edge/spine wear but does have a small tear [into Ringo's left hand] and fraying at the opening without which would have graded EX.

 Original inner sleeve grades as VG+.

Complete and clean with no splits, tears or wear but does have creasing. 

I dispatch records in brand new, bought in mailers designed for the process. Before placing in the mailer I take LPs out of the sleeve place both in a polysleeve and between two card stiffeners and if there is a picture sleeve I place the LP in a plain sleeve to prevent knifing of the picture sleeve. [all this costs £0.80/single LP].

I USE RECORD COLLECTOR GRADINGS AND USE A +/- WHERE I FEEL THAT IT'S APPROPRIATE.

(M) MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as sealed or unplayed should be mint.

(EX) EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of being played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging may have slight wear and/or creasing.

(VG) VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

(G) GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

(F) FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

(P) POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

(B) BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.  

I normally ship within 1/2 working days of receipt of payment.
