I was contacted by an ebay user and informed that a website exists that potentially identfies this copy as a bootleg. The information in the website, available at .eskimo.com/~bpentium/beatles/intro/intro.html, notes that Vee Jay pressings with some of the characteristics of this particular LP, identify it as a counterfeit, or bootlegged copy of the original Vee Jay release. I have owned this LP for 30+ years and I am offering it for sale as is. It is indeed as described and maybe, depending on the accuracy of the website offered, is a counterfeit. I have never had any intention of advertising this item a rare collectors piece, or I surely would have put a reserve or a higher starting bid on the item. I am not dishonest or stupid.
