"REVOLVER"- SUPER RARE ORIGINAL UK MONO FIRST PRESSING XEX 606-1 SIDE TWO MATRIX IN STRONG VG CONDITION!
Perhaps the rarest UK original pressing that is a must have for any Beatles collection! This is the Parlophone yellow and black label first issue with the rare mix of "Tomorrow Never Knows" that was substituted by George Martin after the LP had started to be pressed with the standard version on any other mono pressing. This version is available nowhere else and has never been reissued in any format. This copy plays very well but does show wear and age. Not many of these are around today so don't miss out on one of The Beatles rarest LPs. Good luck!
Parlophone Records PMC 7009 1966 UK first pressing mono LP
GRADING:
COVER: VG laminated front cover and non laminated back with some age and storage wear. A few very small stains on front and back cover has had tape removed from bottom fold. All seams are intact and there is no writing or markings. Opening of sleeve shows wear. and there is minor corner dings and wear. Garrod & Lofthouse printed sleeve.
RECORD: VG with light wear and minor scuffing and scratches. There is a inch long scratch on A side across most of the first two tracks that is lightly audible. The other scratch is on the B side through the last bit of "Got To Get You Into My Life" and the first 20 or so seconds of "Tomorrow Never Knows". This is audible but ends very shortly into the final song and rare mix. The rest of the LP plays quite well with light noise only between certain songs. A side matrix: XEX 605-2. B side: XEX 606-1
LABELS: VG with light wear, spindle marks and some center hole wear. No writing or stickers.
Overall, this is still a very worthwhile copy of this UK rarity that needs a loving home in your Beatles collection!
