THE BEATLES - RUBBER SOUL (U.K. MONO 2nd PRESSING )
SUPERB COPY OF THIS RARE LP IN FABULOUS CONDITION. THIS PRESSING HAS THE "SOLD IN THE U.K." AND "THE GRAMOPHONE CO.LTD" LABEL TEXT.
SIDE 1 OF THE VINYL IS IN EXCELLENT+/NEAR MINT CONDITION. SHINY VINYL WITH SUPERB AUDIO. THERE IS A SCRATCH ON TRACKS 1 AND 2 BUT I HAVE PLAYED IT THROUGH AND THERE IS NO EFFECT ON THE SOUND WITH NO AUDIBLE CLICKS. THE REST OF SIDE 1 IS NEAR MINT. SIDE 2 IS IN NEAR MINT CONDITION.
THE FRONT LAMINATED FLIPBACK SLEEVE IS IN NEAR MINT CONDITION. INCREDIBLE CONDITION WITH CRISP, CLEAN, UNMARKED SPINE AND EDGES AND SUPERB, GLOSSY LAMINATE. THE BACK COVER IS COMPLETELY UNMARKED AND LOOKS LIKE NEW.
THE LABELS ARE IN NEAR MINT CONDITION.
THE ORIGINAL POLY-LINED PAPER INNER SLEEVE IS IN EXCELLENT+ CONDITION.
RELEASED IN 1965 ON PARLOPHONE RECORDS CAT.NO. PMC 1267.
THE MATRIX NUMBERS ARE XEX 579-4/ 580-4.

Grading
I grade all my records using the Record Collector's Grading System which is as follows:
Mint - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
Excellent - The record shows signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
Very Good - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion ans mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits discoloration etc.
Fair - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise: it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/ or defaced.
Poor - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
