TITLE/INFO: If you have interest in great conditioned "oldies" music and more, please continue to check in on my site as I have many more 45's/EP's and LP's to sell - and thank you in advance. This highly collectible Beatles LP is an original 1st press copy from Capitol Records, and entitled, "The Beatles Second Album" from 1964 - it is in original MONO. The record and jacket are both in outstanding condition, but please read on and check out all 11 the pictures above - it even comes with it's original Capitol Records inner sleeve that advertises other Capitol albums of that time. FYI, this is another one of the Beatles' LPs from my personal collection that I am currently selling off - and we are rapidly approaching the end of the line here - just the group's very first Capitol release, and their most collectible VeeJay album to go yet - although I do have a "Butcher Album", which I haven't decided to sell just yet. Trust me, this whole selloff was a very difficult decision to make since all of them were near and dear to me and all were in excellent to near mint condition as well, but...... LABEL INFO: This original, first press, Capitol label (T-2080), in MONO, is clean and nice with no serious issues, although there are some spindle lines around the center circles. These lines are very light and fairly small in number which indicates to me that the LP likely had very light play. VINYL INFO: The record is also very shiny, clean, and nice in it's appearance - and again, I see no real serious flaws. However, if you look very close under a bright light there are a fair number of very light (and I do mean very light) surface/paper lines on either side, but they have absolutely no effect on the album's play - and, in my opinion, do very little to effect it's appearance either. Again, other than these very light lines, the vinyl looks perfectly fine - and it plays great! JACKET: Finally, this jacket - certainly a real highlight of this package - is in near perfect condition and really shows no mentionable flaws - To me, it looks to be almost as good as the day it was first sold with the exception of one 2"-3" crease line in the lower left corner of the backside only. But again, please view all 11 of the pictures above and make your own decisions - or write me if you need more exact details. INTERESTING FACTS: Yes, this popular and collectible Beatles album is in great overall shape and as always, I have begun the auction at a low opening bid and have no reserve price - just free and open bidding - so good luck! FYI, if anyone wants to bid on multiple items to save on postage costs, I am more than happy to "save" your winning pieces here at the house until you are ready for shipping - just tell me ahead of time, wait for my invoice (not EBay's), and pay for each item as you win them.
