STATES 'AN EMI RECORDING' TO SIDE1/2 BUT NOT TO SIDE 3/4??

 

Numbered 0138985 & APPARENTLY OVER 200,000 COPIES WERE SOLD IN THE FIRST WEEK

I WILL GRADE THIS AS FOLLOWS


COVER /OUTER SLEEVE : excellent+


* Original laminated outer sleeve by Garrod and Lofthouse


* Top-loading - 1st issue


* "The Beatles" embossed in the laminate on front cover


* No writing or markings of any kind on rear of the cover ie mono


* Light Creasing  some wear on the corners, no writing, all flapbacks perfectly stuck down

*  Only minor flaws on laminate. Clean and unyellowed , Top opening slightly squashed spine, inner side of the gatefold sleeve excellent -some glue residue present

*  Some wear to top opening - see photographs 

 

PHOTOS AND POSTER: EXCELLENT+

 

* Comes complete with 4 photos, separator missing, one of each of the Beatles


* No damage from pins/blue tack etc to poster or photographs

 

BLACK INNER SLEEVES : EXCELLENT+


* Original 1968 matt black paper inner sleeves, (with the hole diecut on just 1 side.)


* Both in excellent order but for a knick of 2cm x 1cm out of the sleeve for sides 3/4 

VINYLS:  EXCELLENT++

Disk 1: To me it seems floorless but for 2/3 hairline marks but i'm being careful not to get too silly as i realise how specific you collectors are!! - I have a turntable but it is unreliable and the arm is crap so i'm too scared to play them. Rest assured that these will play superbly. Small amount of spindle marking - negligable

Disk 2: As above - honestly they are brilliant!!

I WILL POST THIS IN THE APPROPRIATE PACKAGING WITH THE VINYL SEPERATE TO THE OUTER AS THIS SEEMS TO BE THE ACCEPTED WAY
