Description
TITLE The Beatles - White Album
INFO Rare mispressing of this original 1968 Australian issue of The White Album. LP1 has the wrong labels printed on each side: Side A label plays the B-side (matrix confirms the wax is from Side B), and the Side B label plays the A-side (confirmed by wax also). See attached photo of label Side A where the Side B matrix (SWBO-2-....) can be seen.
This 1968 copy also comes complete: top-loading gatefold sleeve; embossed logo; numbered cover (A 35442); 4 portrait photographs; fold-out lyrics insert; black inner sleeves
Both records play very well for a '68 press. Some light surface noise throughout, but never overpowering. A strong VG pushing VG+ on both records. All inserts are pristine (one black inner sleeve has a small tear as pictured) and white gatefold cover has some expected discolouration, but all edges remain good & in-tact. Some indentations on front cover that can be seen in the light.
