THE BEST OF ELVIS - ELVIS PRESLEY (10") 1957 HMV

 

  • MEGA RARE HMV 10" UK issue

  • Original 1957 UK 1st pressing on the UK maroon & gold HMV label

  • Catalogue Number : DLP 1159

  • Matrix numbers: OXAV 289-1N & OXAV 290-1N

  • The 'XT' price/tax code is visible in the centre of the side 2 label.

  • Housed in the original fully laminated 'WRW' printed, 'half-moon' flipback cover.

  • Very Minimal Spindle Wear

  • Recording First Published  1957.  52 years old.

 

 Notes :  

This is a Rare And Much Sought After 10 inch LP from 1957.  Given it’s age and scarcity , this one is in generally nice condition. There is some cover damage to front and back (see pic) to be weighed , and some scattered surface marks to the vinyl. Nothing serious though. It plays well. Some usage wear also to the top opening of the inner sleeve. Very collectible – this would be a fantastic addition to the collection.

 

Complete with original white 10" poly-lined inner-sleeve. It is stamped ‘Parker Pianos’ - the mark of the original shop that sold it in London in 1957!
