Hitchcock double feature !
It was 1963 when the newest horror movie from Alfred Hitchcock was the chilling film ‘The Birds.’ Then the next year he followed with ‘Marnie.’ Both starred Tippi Hendren and both were sent ‘round to theatres a bit later as a DOUBLE BILL !
Remember double features? I don’t know if this was in theatres, or was a drive-in promotionm, but this is the BLOOD RED VINYL record with four different radio commercials for this remarkable double bill. There’s clip from the films included in the spots, and even Alfred Hitchcock makes an appearance here!
This record is one sided, and was never available to the public. Only a few hundred were ever pressed, and how many survive today, much less in this spectacular like-new condition.
