You are bidding on an EXTREMELY RARE MONO album by The Monkees called "The Birds, The Bees & The Monkees" on Colgems Records.

Using the Goldmine grading standards, I would grade this item as follows:
Very Good Plus [VG+]: "Shows some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. Record surfaces may show some slight signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience." - This record still has that "shine" I always look for, but it is hard to describe. "The label may have some ring wear or discoloration, but is should be barely noticeable." - there is no wear or discoloration. "The center hole is not misshapen by repeated play." "LP inner sleeves will have some slight wear, lightly turn-up corners, or a slight seam-split." - one of the lower corners has a wrinkle and there is a 1" seam split at the bottom. "An LP jacket my have slight signs of wear also." - There is about 3 inches of ring wear at the bottom, not as much at the top. The bottom right corner has a 3/4" wrinkle that you can see in the photo. The upper right corner has a tiny scuff and the upper left corner has a very thin, 3/4" scuff.
There are no stains and no writing anywhere on the contents. I would agree with the following statement from Goldmine: "In general, if not for a couple of minor things wrong with it, this would be Near Mint. All but the most mint-crazy collectors will find a Very Good Plus record highly acceptable."
