I used to collect Black Crowes recordings and bought this to keep, not to play.
Whilst checking what I thought was a mint, unplayed copy I noticed a blackish mark on side one (see photo).
I wanted to see if this affected the sound quality so played the album through the mark and, indeed, there is an increase in noise through this area.
On listening further to the record I found that although there are no scratches the sound is quite crackly throughout. Is this a problem with coloured vinyl generally? I seem to remember reading that this may be the case.
In short, apart from the mark the record is cosmetically as-new but the sound quality is a little disappointing.
